Varsha Suresh is a New York City based integrative painter, illustrator, and photographer. The areas of convergence between the human and natural worlds deeply inspire her work. Her artworks often use mixed media(watercolor, gouache, acrylic paints, pencils, and pastels) and a colorful palette to draw attention to the wild subjects of her paintings and the stories behind them. Varsha’s journey in art is one of continuous discovery and evolution. Be it little heedless doodles or thoughtfully crafted paintings, everything she composes and creates is simply another attempt at finding ways, as Robin Wall Kimmerer asks of us, "to heal the places we love".
