Hi! My name is Manu, I'm 24 years old, and I am an artist. I’m drawn to portraiture because it’s where humanity lives at its most raw. Having moved many times - all over the East coast and a little bit in Mumbai, I’ve seen many faces and experienced the power of connection in all its forms. Every person carries a world within them, and it’s in the quiet details that I find my focus.

Ever since I was little, art has protected me by being a constant source of community, offering a space for expression and understanding. For me, creating portraits isn’t just about preserving a face—it’s about building bridges between people, about connecting through shared truths and the beauty of our differences, our heritage, our fight for identity.

My work is a reflection of the way I see the world: a tapestry of voices, histories, and experiences, all intertwining in the simple, beautiful act of being seen. To be known is to be loved, and there can never be enough of that.
