My name's Shaheer, I'm a Pakistani-American, self-taught graphic designer and artist from North Carolina, currently based in Atlanta. Art has always played a role in my life and as I've grown up and evolved, so has my relationship with art. In high school I would make sports edits and commitment graphics for my athlete friends, in college this turned into making posters for my friends and I's dorms, and now I've fully developed my style and use art to reflect my experiences and thoughts. My favorite part about my artistic journey is being able to look back at where I was and see how far I've come as well as what's influenced me and my style. It always impresses me. I love to think about where I am now compared to a few years ago as an artist and as a person. I can only imagine what my work will look like and how I'll feel about it in another 5 years and even further down the road. Being able to track your growth is really cool and there's no other feeling like seeing yourself grow and develop as a person and seeing that reflected in your work.
