Collection: Eliza

Eliza is a visual artist whose work is centered on romanticizing south asian women. Her work is an interpretation of what happens when brown women take up space they were never meant to fit in, blending beauty standards and expanding the lens through which we're seen.  Each piece is a quiet protest- against colorism, invisibility, and the narrow standards imposed by the dominant culture, and ultimately a love letter to her younger self. Her work invites viewers to ask - " Have I let go of colonial beauty standards?"
